Practice Meaning: Vocabulary Cartoons.doc Students reinforce/practice meaning using cartoons that use the words (or rather, which I edit to use the words). The visuals help them remember.
Practice Usage: Vocabulary Usage - Pick the Worst Usage.doc Students often know definitions, but misuse words in their writing. Force students to chose the WORST usage of a word in order to stimulate conversation about the nuances of usage.
